Department of Tourism (DOT) is responsible for the regulation of the Philippine tourism industry and the promotion of the Philippines as a tourist destination. With the Philippines having the longest lockdown in the world and many other countries vying for the tourists’ choice for their ”revenge travel”, work needed to be done.

THE WHY

We wanted to let the world know, after the long hiatus brought about by the pandemic, that the Philippines is open again. Influencers from all over the globe were tapped to build excitement even if they are not physically in the Philippines yet. Those who were in the Philippines went to their chosen destination to showcase the beauty of the archipelago.

THE WHAT

With celebrities and influencers talking about the product and how they incorporated it with their daily activities, the users were able to resonate and grasp the benefits of Spotify. The campaign garnered almost 25mill content impressions across 340k eyeballs. Engagement rates of 2% of Instagram and 3% on YouTube proved that the audiences resonated with the campaign.
